Requirements

With at least 5 years experience in managing and drafting spot contracts the successful candidate will be completely up to date with current market rates and practices. As a leading position in the management of the companies logistics services the successful applicant will be tasked with creating and implementing a structured supplier review and benchmarking process of contractors and own fleet in order to ensure that the company is getting the best deal possible on its transport requirements.

Skills & experience

Degree qualified with at least five years relevant experience in a similar role. Must be CIPS qualified with an extensive knowledge of the European Logistics and Haulage sector and familiar with the core competencies of its various providers. Management qualifications preferred but experience and track record is more critical.
